Happy New Year and thanks for stopping by! This year’s resolutions: more outdoors and more art. While I tremendously enjoy this warm winter (after a historically cold one last year), I managed to make some time to paint and work on my techniques. In particular I focused on my backgrounds and incorporated different structures, more layers and tools. At the same time, I loosened my Exclamatory Intermezzo concept, allowing the work to become more abstract.

My new study Leaning toward … Yellow is one of the results of these experiments, which I finished during the holidays.
